A Kiss is Still a Kiss: Or Is it? The Astrological History of Love and Sex Since Neptune's Discovery.

Like all areas of life, love and sex continue to evolve and our perceptions of them change. This talk will follow their history from the middle of the 19th century to today, with an eye towards the future. We’ll look at the movement of the outer planets through signs and the emergence of goddess asteroids, and we’ll also explore the charts of key people and important milestones in our ongoing sexual evolution. Participants will recognize the opportunities and challenges that the outer planets represent in their charts.

Predicting Social Trends

From pet rocks to legalization of cannabis, we all ride through a swirling array of surface fads and deeper social changes. Can these trends be predicted with any degree of certainty in a complex, multifaceted, and multileveled world? Within reason, the answer is yes and astrologers have the tools to see the direction in which the collective consciousness is trending. In this workshop, we’ll look at the past, present, and future as we learn how to see what’s coming down the pike in society. We’ll also use astrolocality to see not only when but where particular trends might take root.

An in-depth workshop on Saturday, September 23rd will go deeper into historic trends, and will incorporate the charts of workshop participants – learn how the social and transpersonal planets can be very personal as we each receive our mission to change the world in small and great ways!
